In my mind the 'Wild Child" was a sad, interseting story of someone who was treated the worst they could be from birth to about 13 years old, had some bright spots, then had it all ripped away from her. The "Wild Child" also known as Genie was left tied to a chair in a dark room for the first 13 years of her life. The first question that arose in my head was what language would Genie think in? Obviously she could not talk, but she could think. Did she make up her own language to think in? Or was the abuse bad enough that she didn't have thoughts at all? For instance when she was hungry did she think "Im hungry." Or did she just go off basic insticts and maybe try to solve the problem by yelling or somthing. Was she smart enough to do that? I believe the "Wild Child" documentry was very interesting but it failed to answer these important, intreging questions.
