The title of the book I read was Murphy's Boy. I picked it out because time was running out and I saw it everytime I went to look for another book. After doing a quick research on the book in the last minutes of the class Murphy's Boy intreged me a bit. The book is a two and a half year study on some kid who has been mentally abused by his parents. After seeing the results the psychatrist and the kid become much closer and much better friends. It is an older book but I believe it will still be relavant to me.

I can't even begin to imagine the type of trauma that this boy went through. This boy is very brave for being willing to share his story.
ReplyDeletethis seems very intresting because the boy is only being abused mentaly so their is no physical harm being done to him. it is crazy how mental damage can be just as bad if not worse the physical damage
